So By Obama's Logic, I Can Feel Free to be Cured of My Anti-Racism and Become a Racist?

If Obama can justify pandering to the homophobes, overlooking and implicitly endorsing McClurkin's homophobia, how about this?

I once was anti-racist. But god, jesus, the republicans and the white evangelical churches -- especially the southern baptist church and the KKK and just my general overall white culture -- showed me the error of my ways.

They cured me from my anti-racist, pro-social 'justice for all' urges. Now I can do the easy thing and not worry about whether african americans and people of color ever receive equal justice and equality of rights because God and my culture has decided for me that RACISM IS GOOD in the same way that HOMOPHOBIA IS GOOD since it comes directly from God (and the Republican Party, and now from Obama).

Now I am delivered from from working on no longer being a bigot -- I can return to being a racist bigot just as god and the republican party (and Obama intended).

I can now simply rid myself of my worries of the effects of prejudice and racism on me and other white folks (not to mention people of color) and allow myself to follow the racist teachings of the bible, the church and my white racist southern culture.

Hallelujah, praise jesus and pass the ammunition.

P.S. Maybe next I can become a happy former fighter of Anti-Semitism and become the anti-semite Jesus intended for me to be, too!

I can tell you I sure won't be voting for Obama. He's not that new when it comes to civil rights and justice for all. Sounds much more like the Good Ole White Boy Republican Party of Old.
